Welcome to the 2013 annual Crick Wheat Classic! Crick Wheat Stables is located in the United States, on the proud soil of Massachusetts, a state with a longer, richer history than the country itself. Nestled snugly at the base of the Berkshire Mountains, our long gravel driveway, surrounded by dense evergreens, will lead you onto the farm. When you arrive at the farm, you will be greeted by our farm hands and shown to your living quarters for the week as well as get your horse settled in a stall.

There are 50 stalls in a large warehouse located on our competition grounds. It is a permenant warehouse, but it has open doors so it is encouraged that your horses wear a sheet or fleece when in their stall so as not to be affected by the draft, heavier blankets for horses coming from the south as it is winter here, and the temperature can fall well below freezing. A map of the stall layout will be posted, and entrants can go there to comment and claim a desired space.

This is a "full" show, so shading and a background are needed for an entry!

Halter

Halter will be held in one of the spare rings around CWS. It may move, so feel free to make up a background anywhere on the property according to the map. Halter is being held on any day, at any time.

Any age horses.

Show Jumping:

All Show Jumping will be held in Ring A on the map (to be uploaded), which is indeed an outdoor ring. The lake is visible from the east side of the ring. Due to the coming spring, the lake is melted with small patches of ice scattered across the top of the water. The fish are beginning to get more active and the ducks are returning. The weather will be cold, with dark dense clouds covering the skies. Held at dawn of Day One. Competitors are encouraged to wear their stable colors!

The only outlined jump on the course. It is only present in the CW Classic Jump Off, not in Green rail. It is 6 foot, the tallest jump on the course.

Crick Wheat Classic Jump Off

Horses in this class must be at least 6 years old.

They have to have competed in at least one show.

Jump heights will max out at 6 foot.

Green Rail

Horses in this class may not be any older than 5 years.

They can not have competed in one other SJ show.

Jump heights will not be any higher than 3'6" foot, that being the highest.

Cross Country:
The cross country runs will be held through the trails and valleys of CWS. There will be jumps in the water as well as snow, however, there is not snow everywhere. There are some fields where sunlight is more prominent and the snow has melted, however, there the grass will be dead and crisp. There is a single standard log jump in the middle of the wheat fields that CWS is famous for, and a photographer will be located there. Whether this is the image you choose to enter or not is up to you. The sun will be peaking thought he overcast sky to reveal the sun and warm sky behind them. It will be cold, and held at dawn of Day 2. Competitors are encouraged to wear their stable colors!

Standard Run XC

Horses in this class must be at least 6 years old.

Horses in this class must have competed in at least one XC show.

Breakout Run XC

Dressage
Dressage will be held after the Lunch of the third day. There will be a three hour time in between lunch and start of the classes, so the sun will be setting. Today is unusually warm, so the footing may be a bit sloppy in the outdoor rings. With the melting snow and warm air, it is going to be a bit foggy. Competitors are encouraged to wear their stable colors!

Advanced Dressage

Horses in this class must be at least 6 years old.

Horses in this class must have competed in at least one dressage show.

Young Star Dressage

Horses in this class must be 5 years and younger.

Horses can not have competed in Dressage before.

This show is purely judged on the entry, but me. There is no use of a random generator or anything of that sort. It is based off of how much effort the artist had put into their image! Extra images will not give you extra points, but that doesn't mean you can not draw them! (:

5%- Story included (This is optional, but a good story will get you extra points!)
